Arpan is extending its counselling services entirely free of cost beyond issues related to Child Sexual Abuse to provide counselling and parenting support for those affected by COVID-19.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve adapted our work to meet the needs of our community: including extending support to children and parents by way of resources, free counselling and other engagements.

Rural Development Society also recognises that these difficult times have been taking a toll on people’s mental well-being. To address this, we have been extending our counselling services entirely free of cost beyond issues related to Child Sexual Abuse. These include chat-based and phone-based counselling across platforms, regular dissemination of parenting and mental healthcare resources through mass media communication, conducting self-care sessions with partner organisations and conducting webinars and online talks for building awareness around mental well-being and parenting during Covid.
